Position Overview:
Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Talent Acquisition, to support the firm's lateral partner recruiting initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional candidate experience while managing complex logistics, stakeholder communications, and high-profile recruiting activities.

Required Proficiencies

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and document editing/comparison tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and web-based conferencing platforms
  • Fundamental to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet/database applications
  • Fundamental to advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation tools

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a professional or financial services or legal (required)

Campus recruiting experience required

Experience in HR, attorney recruiting, talent development, or law school career services preferred

Experience coordinating training programs, events, and large-scale initiatives

Working knowledge of legal recruiting and attorney development practices

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience in the legal industry strongly preferred, professional service required
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, managing multiple candidates at various stages of the recruiting pipeline
  • Coordinate complex interview schedules across multiple offices and time zones
  • Lead firmwide coordination and execution of private dinners and events for lateral partner candidates, including logistics, communications, budgeting, and collaboration with partners and recruiting teams
  • Assist with and prepare market intelligence and competitive research on firms and prospective candidates
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key stakeholders and search firms, providing candidate updates, gathering additional information, and soliciting feedback
  • Support onboarding coordination to ensure a seamless transition for incoming partners
  • Provide flexible support outside of standard business hours as needed, including evening and weekend events and time-sensitive requests
  • Travel as required to support recruiting programs, initiatives, and events
  • Handle additional recruiting-related projects as assigned
